<p>We're looking for a <strong>Senior Go Backend Developer</strong> to join their engineering team in <strong>Hamburg (hybrid working model)</strong>. This is an English-speaking environment with colleagues from around the world, and <strong>relocation support is available</strong> for candidates moving to Germany.</p>
<h2>Tasks</h2>
<ul>
<li>Building and scaling high-performance Go services</li>
<li>Processing and analysing millions of real-time events daily</li>
<li>Designing distributed systems using Kafka and event-driven architectures</li>
<li>Developing APIs and data platforms used by external partners</li>
<li>Optimising database performance across large-scale datasets</li>
<li>Contributing to cloud-native, microservices-based infrastructure</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of software development experience</li>
<li>3+ years of commercial Go development</li>
<li>Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies</li>
<li>Solid database optimisation skills (MySQL, Druid, or similar)</li>
<li>Experience operating services at significant scale</li>
